O projeto nietzschiano de um cultivo europeu

Abstract

This article analyzes the European project of breeding that Nietzsche presents from Human, all too human onwards. I try to show, firstly, that it is indeed a biological-cultural breeding project, in the sense of what Nietzsche calls Züchtung in Beyond Good and Evil; secondly, that this breeding is initially thought of on the scale of a geographical Europe that distinguishes itself from the United States and, more generally, from the world; and, thirdly, that an essential matrix of all this reflection is the Nietzschean interpretation of Greek breeding, that is, of the very complex process of intermingling to which Nietzsche attributes the emergence of ancient Greek culture.
