Os louros ingratos da guerra civil
memória e esquecimento através das moedas cunhadas durante os conflitos internos da República Tardia

Propõe-se, neste artigo, analisar a ação da documentação numismática na construção de memória e sua atuação nos conflitos políticos internos vividos por Roma durante as últimas décadas do período republicano. As moedas romanas, na condição de agentes da memória, intervinham ativamente nos conflitos. A partir da seleção de três fontes (RIC 545, RRC 448/3 e RRC 443/1), datadas de entre 49 e 28 a.C., buscamos compreender a forma particular como as peças monetárias recordavam as Guerras Civis, evitando dar visibilidade à dimensão doméstica dos conflitos e, ao mesmo tempo, enfatizando as guerras contra povos estrangeiros.
